The goal of the project was to send children from low-income families and orphans to school by providing their school fees for one school year.

A total of 60 children benefited from school fee donations. 30 of them visit the “Presbyterian Nursery and Primary School Bomaka”, an elementary school in Buéa in the South-west region in Cameroon. The other 30 children go to the public “Government Bilingual Primary School” in Kumba. The children were selected by COMIHAS in close cooperation with the school’s head mistress.

Additional funds were raised for 40 mathematics and 40 English books for orphans and children from fow-income families in Kumba.

Donations were raised mainly from private sponsors in Germany through an online plattform. The handover of the money took place during an official ceremony on 22 September 2016 in Kumba and on 29 September 2016 in Buéa.
